Quick N’ Easy Chili

A basic chili recipe that’s easy to make and full of wholesome goodness!

Recipe for Quick n’ Easy Chili

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 – 14 oz. cans beans in tomato sauce
  • 1 – 10 oz. can tomato soup
  • 1 – 16 oz. can kidney beans
  • 1 – 29 oz. can pasta sauce
  • 1-2 teaspoons black pepper, or to taste
  • 2-4 teaspoons chili powder, or to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown ground beef in a skillet, drain excess fat and place ground beef in a large saucepan.
  2. Now, saute onion, garlic and mushrooms in oil for about 5 minutes.
  3. Add to ground beef.
  4. Add remaining ingredients to the large sauce pan.
  5. Cook on stove top at medium temperature until chili starts to bubble, then reduce heat to low.
  6. Let simmer about 30 minutes to blend flavors.
