Sloppy Jo’s

An all-time classic favourite. Quick and easy to make!

Recipe for Sloppy Jo’s

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 onion
  • pepper
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  1. Brown ground beef and onion together. Drain excess fat off.
  2. Add remaining ingredients except cheese. Simmer for 5 min.
  3. Serve over a hamburger bun and top with cheese.
  4. Great served with a salad!

Lazy Daisy Cake

Moist, spongey white cake with a delicious caramel topping. Tastes great on its own or with a scoop of ice cream!

Recipe for Lazy Daisy Cake

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup heated milk
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons margarine
  1. Beat eggs in mixing bowl until frothy.
  2. Beat in sugar in 4 or 5 separate additions.
  3. Stir in vanilla.
  4. Stir in flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Heat milk and butter together in small saucepan until hot.
